1. Tree of Life

The Tree of Life (Shajarat al-Hayat) is a Prosopis cineraria standing proudly in the Bahrain desert, about 10 kilometers from Manama. It’s over 400 years old and has managed to survive in the harsh desert with very little water. Reaching about 10 meters high, its lush green canopy is a striking sight against the otherwise barren landscape. This amazing tree has drawn people from all over, fascinated by its ability to thrive despite the extreme conditions. Its deep roots tap into underground water, helping it endure. The Tree of Life is not just a natural wonder but also a symbol of resilience and life, making it a must-see for anyone visiting Bahrain.
