Nia Niscaya expressed gratitude to the airlines that have helped achieve the targets for international tourist visits.

"We are, of course, grateful to the airlines that have supported the achievement of our international tourist visit targets. We hope this will truly help us meet or even exceed our target for international tourist arrivals in Indonesia," she said.

The Indonesian government has set a target of 9.5 to 14.3 million international tourist visits in 2024.

With the opening of these new flight routes, it is hoped that this target can be met or even surpassed. The increase in international tourist arrivals will directly contribute to the growth of tourism revenue, which is a vital source of income for Indonesia's economy.
