The Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS), an initiative by the Malaysian government, aims to attract outstanding international students for postgraduate studies in Malaysia. It fosters cultural exchange, strengthens academic and professional networks, and cultivates a vibrant learning environment.

Fully funded by the Malaysian government, the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) oversees the selection process for the MIS scholarship. The scholarship itself offers a wide range of programs in science and technology, mathematics, humanities, and management sciences. However, it's exclusively for students pursuing Master's, PhD, or postdoctoral degrees in Malaysia.
